This image shows my progress in planning out how I will draw each piece for the project. There will be fourteen pieces because each piece represents a song from Nine Inch Nails’ 1994 album “The Downward Spiral”. My drawings portray the protagonist and his warped perception of reality. His eyes are scratched out in the pictures to show his loss of identity and each piece is trying to show a part of his intense negative emotions. Guiding Question: How can I exaggerate my art to push the exploration of the album “The Downward Spiral” in my composition and mark making?
